Life with Stripes
Call me crazy, but this doesn't look like a 21st century cereal.
I'm going to have a hard time not ordering the Quisp timepiece . . .
That's FANTASTIC!!! Do you remember Captain Quisp from your childhood? Because I remember it from mine, and I thought it no longer existed. People would look at me as if I were babbling incoherently when I asked them if they remembered "Captain Quisp". They're similarly puzzled when I ask them if they remember Slim Chiply, the Paramount potato chip, or the Frito Bandito ... Thank you for bringing back my childhood!
Glad to be of service. No, I have to admit I don't remember the cereal . . . it just looked so DIFFERENT . . . definitely 60's or 70's . . . I Googled it, and evidently only certain stores sell it. You can also buy it on the internet.
I'll bet it goes back to the '60's ...I think I'll have to buy it online.Too cool!
Have you tried Captain Quisp yet? I was thinking of you in the cereal section at Meijer this evening, as I wrestled with whether to buy a box of peanut butter Cap'n Crunch. Rarely, my dietary concerns prevailed over my taste buds.
