So I was walking through Big Lots the other day, and suddenly I felt as though I had been transported back in time. On the shelf I saw this:
Call me crazy, but this doesn't look like a 21st century cereal.
I'm going to have a hard time not ordering the Quisp timepiece . . .

That's FANTASTIC!!! Do you remember Captain Quisp from your childhood? Because I remember it from mine, and I thought it no longer existed. People would look at me as if I were babbling incoherently when I asked them if they remembered "Captain Quisp". They're similarly puzzled when I ask them if they remember Slim Chiply, the Paramount potato chip, or the Frito Bandito ... Thank you for bringing back my childhood!
Glad to be of service.
No, I have to admit I don't remember the cereal . . . it just looked so DIFFERENT . . . definitely 60's or 70's . . .
I Googled it, and evidently only certain stores sell it. You can also buy it on the internet.
I'll bet it goes back to the '60's ...
I think I'll have to buy it online.
Too cool!
Have you tried Captain Quisp yet? I was thinking of you in the cereal section at Meijer this evening, as I wrestled with whether to buy a box of peanut butter Cap'n Crunch. Rarely, my dietary concerns prevailed over my taste buds.
